Like many, I kind of fell into the world of RevOps. As a co-founder of a quickly-growing startup (Portfolium), I wore many hats but they all involved solving problems and making things easier for my teammates. My coworkers often described my work as “Royce hacks;” finding innovative solutions to problems that had others stuck. I worked closely with our marketing, sales, and customer success teams, helping to put out fires and find solutions. I immediately realized the importance of effective communication and alignment between teams. I got involved in all of it (creating territories and lead-routing, enablement, campaign-building and tracking, lead management, data enrichment and integrity, implementing integrations, debugging, etc.), thereby streamlining the flow of data between systems, and building scalable processes to improve efficiency and optimize performance. 

Currently, I run RevOps at the National Society of Leadership and Success. At the NSLS, I continue to bring visions, strategies and execution to reality. Additionally, I host a virtual RevOps mastermind meetup as a side project with Certified Mastery. 

I am based in San Diego, California where I live with my wife and our dog-like cat, Rio. Outside of work, my RevOps brain rarely shuts off; I am constantly trying to optimize my home and personal life. I am a process and systems-oriented person through and through. In fact, the only time my RevOps brain really shuts off is in the ocean, surfing with my friends.
